Annika Sorenstam

Annika Sorenstam was born on October 9, 1970 in Sweden. Annika is one of the greatest female golfers. Her father is a retired IBM executive, Annika’s mother worked in a bank and her younger sister is also a professional golf player. Annika and her sister Charlotta Sorenstam are the only two sisters to have both won $1 million on the LPGA.
In early ages Sorenstam played tennis becoming a nationally ranked junior tennis player. Besides this she was a good skier and football player.
