Lawrence Edward "Larry" Page was Google's founding CEO was born on March 26, 1973 in Lansing, Michigan. Larry's father Dr. Carl Victor Page was a professor of computer science and artificial intelligence. Following the footsteps of his father in computer science Larry and Sergey Brin changed the face of internet by developing a new technique in Search Engine, which became the pumping heart of the Internet world. Page and Brin lunched this search engine in 1998. Starting with few employees the company has grown to more than 10,000 employees worldwide. Page had an estimated net worth of $16.6 Billion, making him the 26th richest person in the world.

Larry Page is also an investor in Tesla Motors, which is developing a 250 mile range battery electric vehicle. Page is named as a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum.
