Shahrukh Khan was born on November 2, 1965 in Peshawar, Pakistan. He is top star of India. His father Taj Mohammed Khan was a freedom activist of Pathan background. Shah Rukh Khan's father came to Delhi from Pakistan before the Partition of India. Shahrukh married Gauri Khan in 1991 and they have two children, a son and a daughter.
Khan started his acting career by appearing in the television series Fauji in 1988. Afterwords he worked in many film which proved to be a box office hit which make him the most famous and demanding star in Bollywood.
Khan also produces some of the films he has starred in. Shahrukh won many Film Awards. Madame Tussauds wax museum placed his statue adding him among the famous personalities of the world.
