Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar is a big star of the Indian cricket team. He was born to a middle class family on 24 April 1973 in Mumbai. Sachin's father writes Marathi novels.He has 3 siblings, brothers Ajit Tendulkar, Nitin Tendulkar and sister Savitai Tendulkar.Sachin tendulker started his carrier as a cricketer at the age of 16. He is among the top rating batsman in the world today. Tendulkar was the first batsman in history to score over 50 centuries in international cricket.Sachin was also the first overseas cricketer to play for Yorkshire CCC in 1993, in more than 100 years of the club's history.

Sachin Tendulkar married Anjali Tendulker in 1995. Beside sports Sachin owns two restaurants named Tendulkar's. he has also lunched healthcare and fitness products.

He has made record breaking contract for the pay-outs cementing his place as the highest earning Cricketer in the game. He signed the contract value of 3 year at Rs 180 Crores.

Tendulkar was one of the five cricketers selected as Wisden Cricketer of the Year and he has received India's highest sporting honour.Tendulkar sponsors 200 under-privileged children, every year through a NGO associated with his mother-in-law.
